Back in time.....

Finally! Celebrating one of my first days out (with the aid of a wheelchair as well as my crutches) to our local church, which is presenting a village celebration through time. Our village dates from the Norman times, complete with castle site and moat: its history includes villagers who had affairs with Casanova and nursed Nelson after the battle of Trafalgar.
This beauty of an Alfa Romeo was sitting upon entry to the churchyard and appealed to my love of cars. Since my first word, according to my mother, was 'car', I have had an almost unhealthy love of them. Perfectly positioned, tucked in amongst the Georgian cottages leading up to the churchyard, this red devil stilll drives like a dream (apparently): I hope you enjoy!
