Here's a bird.....!

There's obviously something wrong with our peanuts because they were totally ignored today, but the Coal tits were busy on the seeds in the feeder which is a bit further away.
They actually only like the sunflower seeds which this guy is helping himself to, and which make up about 10% of the mix. The rest of the seeds get slung out on the ground as you can see from the yellow blob half way between bird and dish.
It's amazing how much one of these can shovel out in pursuit of a sunflower seed.
A good example of the "general purpose" solution not really satisfying anyone's demands.
A life lesson in miniature perhaps.
