Tree Swing High

My daughter is so much fun to shoot with....she has been from the moment she could lift her head...it's been photo shoots for "Mommy and Me" ever since. Today we enjoyed practicing once again "action shots" which I truly need to get better at. Too fast a shutter speed, not enough light....or too little DOF...it's a tricky balance...and then if I need fill flash I can only get to 250 on my shutter...Higher ASA? too much grain...how do they do it? With kids they are always moving and I want to capture crisp moving "little ones". Today's shoot got us giggling so hard and my daughter loved playing on her tree swing...something we don't do often enough. We reminisced about the day we put the swing up and the day she painted the tire like a rainbow. It's wonderful how photography can take us to so many places in so many ways.
