The little things

Today as my daughter and I went to the garden to do some water painting we marveled at all of the dahlias still in bloom. The roses in the garden are slowly withering and signs of the Holidays are in motion. I shot many things this afternoon, and had a tough time choosing which image to use, but decided on this one since action shots are something I still need lots of work on. I love all the droplets in motion and to be able to see them frozen in air is simply fascinating to me. Still much work to do when it comes to crisp captures, but practice makes perfect (so they say).


The best thing today was seeing my daughter do her first carthwheel with perfectly straight legs...she's been practicing for some time now and when I photographed her doing it....the giant smile of pride in reaching her goal was Amazing:)
