The Aran Knitter

Tess can't sit relax and watch the TV unless she is doing something. Normally she will be found doing a Cross stitch (she is at present completing a lovely one - A poem - Footsteps by Mary Stevenson)
I have though struck lucky and she is now doing me an Aran sweater for the winter ahead.
Caught her here in a moment of rest (I think this was number 19 of the Chilean miners!)

so that we can imagine

the click and flash of needles,

see them like fireflies

in our tranquil recollection

of those supple mysteries,

knit one, drop one, slip one
