Hold On Tight!

I imagine that from the lack of colour and life in this picture, you can ascertain how exciting my day has been!

This is Bangor's main pier on a dull October afternoon. I was taking a few nondescript pictures of bollards and buoys and I felt a slope underfoot towards the edge of the pier. Startled me a bit, actually. It made me imagine the whole pier tipping up like a ship just before it sinks beneath the surface of the sea (too much coffee, I think).

Anyhoo, that became the focus of my next few shots, one of which is this.

In other news, I've made a few decisions today! Not all was lost then.
