Slept in until just before C and N arrived.
D stared bewildered at me for the whole 20 minute car ride.
Arrived at Boston Harbour to find our whale watching cruise had been cancelled because of rough sees.
Pretty windy.
Had to hold down things in the pram to stop them blowing away*.
Retreated to the pub for a beer.
Decided we'd go on a regular Harbour Cruise instead.
Bought tickets.
Got in line to board.
N ducked off to get the cheeseburger he wasn't going to be allowed as an hors d'ouvre come dinner time, and...
... missed the boat.
Oops.
We had a nice little jaunt around the Harbour without him, although D had had enough towards the end and was only holding it together thanks to the dual wonders of cold toast and cheerios.
Met a sheepish N at the end of the trip.
By this time, D had lost the plot, so it was quickly to the car and back to their place.
Beers, a few wines, steak-a-la-youtube and a good catch up.
Really nice to see them.
Today's photo is of D, who was clearly much happier after dinner and a bath...
