Autumn planting

A number of neighbours got together to replant an open field with young seedlings. We picked six 6" Grand Fir seedlings from our property and carried them to the field in two bags. Two of them are tucked in the newspaper in this basket. Over 80 young plants were put in the ground by volunteers on a rainy Sat afternoon. Red plastic tape was tied to each one so that we could see them in the field of grass and brush. It will be fun to watch them grow.
