The Last Cup Cake
A friend made me some cup cakes on Friday. The boys and I had no problems polishing them off - we shared them out - 4 each - Simon and I finished ours by yesterday teatime, Blake (as usual) saved his as long as he could. So he got to eat this lovely pink confection this afternoon.
It's weird that this photo is still in existence when the cake itself isn't any more. A concrete (well, sponge and icing) demonstration of the ephemerality of all things. Lawks, I've gone and got all philosophical. That's what a couple of glasses of red wine will do for me (and I've run out of that too...).
what can I say, it's been a strange day.
