Calgary views
The conference I was running was in full swing and all I managed this day was a few moments contemplation of the city through my hotel window. It was a warm fall day and the late afternoon sun was falling on the windowed buildings. I found this image and loved the multi layers and vista depicting the old, the new and a timeless symbol of Calgary and its heritage. The old city hall nestled amongst the downtown towers, the new city hall sitting beside it in its cold chrome and steel, with the famous Calgary Saddledome in the background. Like coloured blocks stacked upon and near each other.
