Tony the Peacock

At the Red Barn having a final pre-term 4 coffee when I sprinted outside, fumbling with lens cap and on/off switch as I went, in the hopes of catching a hawk I'd seen through the window coming in to land. I was too slow/scary for the hawk; however, Tony the peacock was strutting about so I took some photos of him. He got a little too close to a dog that was tied up outside, it barked and Tony took off.

I know this shot is badly out of focus, but it has to be my blip because before this I didn't know peacocks could fly - so I had certainly never seen the underside of thier wings. Wow, what a sight and sound!
