Sports Saturday

Today started with Jack's flag football pictures at 7:30 this morning. It was cold and even Jack (who claims he's a kitty with fur and is NEVER cold) was feeling the chill. They took the photos, both individual and their team photo on the grass that had huge patches of mud mixed in. His shoes were covered with mud and of course I was in sandals that got caked with mud too. Messy :(

His flag football game started at 8:30. He played the purple team. His attention held for about 35 minutes and then I noticed Jack with the other kids that had rotated out playing their own game of tag on the sidelines. :)

After his game we headed up to Bear Creek High School to catch some of Emily's water polo tournament. They played Bear Creek first and lost. After that game, Jack and I headed home to have lunch and pick up Gracie, (and Hannah and Caroline Kirkland! Thanks for coming!!) and drive back to Arnold Rue for Gracie's volleyball game at 2:00. They beat one of the Sierra teams. The Kirkland girls then joined us for the trip back to Bear Creek to watch Emily's last polo game. She texted me that they had lost one and won one (in overtime!) while I was gone. Their last game of the day would be at 3:15. We made it back to Bear Creek just after they had gotten started. They beat Tokay to finish off her day. Emily got her first goal in this game. I hate to say that I missed it as I was taking Jack to the bathroom at that moment.

After dropping Hannah and Caroline at home, we headed home to eat some dinner and get Jack bathed. Will be heading to Lodi soon to drop Emily off for movie night with the water polo JV teams. Hopefully I can stay awake to pick her up at 11 tonight.
