North Cascade Mountain Range

Looking toward the North Cascades from Teanaway River Rd. on an exploratory drive with good friend today. I had a day off and Big R took a day off and our friends are retired so we decided Road Trip was the plan! Weather reports said rain and overcast so we headed east of the mountains and indeed found wonderful weather. Not so many fall colors as we'd hoped for but some otherwise lovely scenery. And upon our return we could see Seattle also had a great day so ha ha on us:) But we thoroughly enjoyed the drive and fellowship...dogs had not destroyed the place either while we were gone.. largely because Big R took them out early for a major morning romp together.
