I'm Doing It Mum!

Katy is well and truly getting the hang of furniture surfing and spent the best part of an hour just moving between the footstool and the couch today. The other new talent she has aqcuired is opening her sippy cup. She has figured out that if she bangs it hard enough off a surface the lid kind of explodes off and the juice flies everywhere. The first time it's cute. The second, third and fourth it's just annoying. No more sippy cup.

Had a busy day today. At the Tomich for lunch (Abigail chose a massive bit of cheesecake for after her macaroni and scoffed the lot), had packed Katys usual mush for lunch but when she spied the macaroni she turned her nose up at the pumkin soup and got stuck in to that instead, can't wait for that nappy. Then off to the park and then to the Hot Spot. We were hoping for another seven o'clock bed but Abi decided that she couldn't sleep without the new Hello Kitty teddy that Neils friends brought up earlier in the week. Cue much searching, moaning about the state of her room, threats of hiring skips and attempting to console her with various other stuffed toys. Kitty was eventually found stuffed under her pillow "for safe keeping". Nice to know it's not just the grown ups then.
