Friends

This image is from a recent photo shoot I did with a friend....she is lovely to photograph and very patient with me while I am constantly trying new settings and ideas. This was at the beach on a very windy evening...the light was quite harsh and I was practicing my fill light ideas and camera settings. This is always a challenge, since I hate to use "flash", but at times it feels necessary. I liked the way this turned out so airy and soft and trust I can go back and figure out what the heck I did to get here.
Always learning which is the fun part of photography.
