Standing Out

This past weekend we took a camping trip to the Redwoods. Along the Smith river we enjoyed skipping rocks and searching for the perfect "skipper". Actually my daughter and husband were more into the skipping, but I was having a ball photographing all the beautiful Fall colors lying on the river rocks. So many to shoot, but I could only pick one for this Blip. I just love the crisp color of this and the stem was unique as it stood straight into my lens.
