HOLY COW!

With the departure of our very motivating friend Emma, we were at a bit of a loss today. I really want to go and learn tea ceremony somewhere but we couldn't decide where to go!
Luckily Ruby saved the day by discovering the most amazing indoor market just up the road from us. We spent all day looking at things like octopus on a stick (grim) sweets, teas and I bought some fancy sake! We stumbled upon this cute little shrine (Japan has a lot of these tucked away in the most unlikely places) where a nice Japanese man explained to me, in mime, that if you rub the lucky cow and then the part of your body that ails you, you will receive healing.
