Home Again

After a super long driving day yesterday, we arrived home in Indio, CA. It truly feels iike home after begin back in Yakima, WA for the past week. We miss our friends, but love everything about being in California at this time in our lives.

Part of being home is my daily bicycle commute to purchase a morning newspaper. My new mountain bike spends way too much time on asphalt roads, but there is a half mile stretch outside our complex that is dirt which I get to ride everyday. Here I am on my first early day back, heading out across the desert to get my paper, and enjoying the sunshine of a beautiful California morning.
