Interesting day

Ended up at some Council run seminar about funding and voluntary services. Interesting in all sorts of ways. Good information available, a reasonable presentation by a suit, another less interesting one by a Cooncill official with his rotund corporate waistband and looked so shifty I wouldn't ask him the time far less ask for information! Another Cooncil officail , a female this time wore thick white spec frames remeinisant of Joe 90 from Thunderbirds and she wore these tight leggings on legs that didnt deserve them!

Another Cooncil offical, less well dressed and less glamerous but you could so tell she was the brains behind the day. Odd that, the real workers hide their candle under a bushel of dowdiness, while the plonkers are all glammed up in the oddest , most eyecatching clothes but would be dangerous if they had a brain cell between them.

I managed to get a lot of good info though and also did some networking which will pay off later on. Mind you I did also meet with another Cooncil individual who speaks to you but at the same time scans the rest of the room to see who is more important than you and who she should buzz onto for pollenation!
However an altogether good, if long day.
