Closing doors

This will be a longish vacation. A lot of things packed into the last few moments. I have been procrastinating. For the moment, the prospect of going hasn't thrilled me, to be honest. I suppose it's good to begin on a low note. A bit of work spills into tomorrow, which isn't a good thing either.

But there are bits to look forward to and I am hoping I can make the most of them. As it happens, visiting Calcutta leads to a variety of encounters and they are better enjoyed on a clean slate. That holds true for all vacations, I suppose. The surprises, the uncertainty, both the good and the bad.
