The backside of the Baltic

Another view from a bus stop. This is the less commonly seen side of the Baltic Flour Mill Art centre; the Gateshead side, really. I think that Joseph Rank of flour milling fame was the dad of J. Arthur Rank of Hollywood fame. But I could be wrong.

Again there was a noisy party on this morning's train that started drinking as soon as the train left the station at 8 am; but not champagne quaffing ladies on their way to the races this time, or a group of stags heading homewards. Couldn't figure them out at all. (Doncaster??) Then on the train back a very strong smell of urine gradually became impossible to ignore although I couldn't identify the source. I'm a firm supporter of public transport, but......sometimes the travelling public can be quite trying.
