Spud brushing

DH dug up a small mountain of potatoes on Sunday, even though the soil was very damp. So we spread them out on newspaper to dry and I've just been brushing the dried earth off them. I can almost imagine the strap-line on the packaging in the posh supermarket - "Locally grown potatoes, hand-brushed."

Now to see what they taste like!
