Sheds

Sheds are interesting things. We have four of them currently. We did have five - when we cut back one of the gunerra (giant rhubarb) we found a shed inside it - probably once used for chickens. Anyway, the blip today is of the smallest shed which is slowly being reclaimed by nature. Fuchsia, ivy and brambles are encroaching outside and inside it is a mass of ivy and large spiders. It's hard to dismantle a shed unless strictly necessary. The next smallest shed is also falling to pieces but contains lots of stuff. The 'workshop' is newly finished and contains all useful things bloke's need (I'll be in trouble for being sexist if he reads this!) and 'Nirvana' is an arty shed overlooking the pond, dry and warm with cushions and a little table, perfect for sitting in on a warm, wet day.

Busy and fairly uneventful day except the other teacher had a nasty experience concerning headlice which I won't go into, suffice to say letters have been sent home and we are now all feeling itchy.

Update on the Girl who Played with Fire - very well made, dark and Swedish. The main girl is excellent but she has a pretty tough life. The scarf was required.
