Everlasting devotion

Wandering round the top end of Humberstonegate at lunchtime, I spotted this elderly couple getting off a bus.
He stepped off first and offered his hand to his wife who took hold of it as she stepped down. He spoke to her and then grasped her hand again, fingers intertwined and they walked past me to cross the road.
By the time I had sorted myself out, they where on the other side, still holding hands, he was watching for traffic before they moved on again.
It just made me smile inside.....
