Moore Nature Reserve

We had a pretty good flight from JFK to Manchester and were soon through customs, but had a frustrating long wait at the Hertz rental car office - they never seem particularly efficient there, but this time was worse than ever - it must have been a good 45 minutes before we got out to our car. Fortunately it's only a relatively short drive to Roger's parents, so we were soon having a nice cup of tea and a decent breakfast! In the afternoon we went out with Bernard to Moore Nature Reserve. Unfortunately it wasn't a very good afternoon and it soon started to rain, so we took shelter for a while in one of the several bird hides.
