Spent a few minutes with my Linux box powered down just so I could swap out the secondary hard drives. Running tests on the newer one (it's not that new, just newer than the previous occupant) so that I can replace the failing primary drive...

I love technology but frequently find myself way behind the times, often using other people's cast offs - not that I'm ungrateful or anything, the possibilities for second hand parts is nigh on endless. It's just that technology changes far too fast for comfort, what blows your mind yesterday, is old hat by today and museum fodder tomorrow!

Well might as well check on those tests now then ;)
