Are us parents really insane?

Today was the day of Amethyst's birthday treat - we took her and a few friends along to the local cinema to watch "How to Train Your Dragon" in 3D, no less. And when we say a few me mean 16 additional kids other than our own! Fortunately we had three other parents along for the free popcorn (and film of course), but isn't there some unwritten rule that states the ration of children to adults on a birthday treat should be no less than 2:1?

Apart from a few close shaves and scratches it seems that everyone came through alright - apart from what fragile remains of my sanity were left!

Anyway, Amethyst (pictured here), dressed to impress and she thoroughly enjoyed her extended birthday. Just got one thing to say to her now though, "Never again!".

That is until she puts her "puss in boots" face on....
