Rainbow fish take a bow
The day where Edinburgh had one of the craziest bits of weather since well the last crazy bit of horizontal rain / major sunlight, including a very nice double rainbow, child #2 played the role of a Rainbow fish at the premiere of Stella the Starfish at the primary school.
To say that today was a bit manic would be a slight understatement, in the office before 7am to pick up a laptop foolishly forgotten the evening before so I could attend aforementioned spectacle, then back into work for corporate virtual machine madness then home for food then shopping, finished at 9.30pm. A long day.
So the highlight was easily watching children sing songs about being grumpy turtles, scary sharks and the colours of rainbow fish. It was superb, if only this unfettered joy of life could stay forever, well in some, I can assure you it does.
Mental, exhausting, stressful, frustrating, but a brilliant day.
