The Wonder of the Web(s)

As I am off work on a Thursday I have the priviledge of taking my grandson to school. It's a 2 min walk from our house so you can imagine just how busy our street is at certain times of the day with buses (the Academy is next door to the primary) chelsea tractors, nursery drop off and pick up mini buses, taxis and the family saloons. Chaos!

On the short walk back, one of my neighbours commented on the beautiful spider webs that were draped over gates, shrubs, trees, car wing mirrors etc etc. They looked like a crocheted shawl. Just beautiful. It was misty, with the sun starting to poke through the mist which seemed to illuminate the magic of the web.

So there was really no contest as to what the picture of the day should be. I was not inspired these past few days with all the rain we have had. As i type now at 10.30am the sun has broke through and the sky is blue with some fluffy clouds. Lovely - but see it's rain back tomorrow:(
