Tigerlily

I had a day off today and thought I would get loads done - but no. Yesterday when I was hacking down some jaggy hedge stuff, a bit fell from a great height and stabbed me at the knuckle of the index finder. I just pulled it out and it bled a bit but I thought nothing more of it. But when I woke this morning it was swollen and sore and burning hot. The pharmacist told me to see the doc as with it being the weekend and also a Monday holiday, if something worse happened I would have to negotiate the NHS 24. So I have antibiotics in case it does get worse.

So instead of being busy all I could do was lounge about in the garden, reading a glossy magazine in my shorts as it was 24.5 degrees!! Such hardship:-)) Better than any days we had in the summer. Tomorrow, it will be back to rain - typical, we all are so much cheerier when the sun shines.

This is one of the plants in the garden. I just saw it today as it has been hiding behind some overgrown stuff.
