Big is not always best...

Today these workman are planting trees in front of this monstrosity to try to soften the harsh exterior. This is a mega store due to open later in October, has been built on prime land that where once stood a great old brick building called Alliance Textiles.....see blip 19th April. There was much discussion and huge disappointment amongst most people when the Council gave the go ahead.....dollars talk I suspect!! The other side of the building is bright orange and as you can imagine looks positively gross.

These workmen took my eye as I drove around the roundabout; the looked like little ants in orange coats, busy as beavers.....geez ants & beavers, where is my head.

Panic here this morning, I couldn't find Doug's passport, not where passport are always put, instant headache!! Rang said person who came home to help find....he said he remembered putting in in a "safe place" problem where!!! We found it but not quite where he thought he had put it...... grrrrr!!!

Hope to get an AV started later today for our club competition.....they are never as easy as it sounds, why do I leave these things to the last, a hopeless case perhaps.
