Autumn's store.
This is a corner of our larder, on the 15th August my husband made his annual batch of Green tomato chutney. Then yesterday, because we had received a huge red cabbage in our weekly box and had 1 1/2 pounds left after two meals, we decided to pickle it.
Here is the result, a scrumptious harvest waiting to be eaten at Christmas with all those cold meats, pies etc, and also to give as small gifts.
Can't wait!
