Devil In Disguise

She might look cute but in reality she is satan in a sleepsuit. 5 hours. That's how long we slept for last night and we only acheived that because we gave up and brought her in beside us (yes, yes we'll pay for it later but there is a reason sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture and lets face it I do need my beauty sleep). To be fair Katy didn't seem to be too delighted to be awake either- think her teeth are bothering her but as she point blank refused to take any calpol (it may have hampered her ability to keep up the relentless whingeing) my sympathies are limited.

Despite the lack of sleep it has still been quite a productive day- soup made, bread baked and if you don't count the dirty clothes on the bathroom floor (now up to 5 pairs of boxers, jeans, t-shirt, trainers and a sock) the washing is all done, which given my slutty aproach to housework is a minor miracle.

With a day of constant rain it's been a bit harder to entertain the kids today but so far they've done a sterling job of amusing themselves and are currently sitting on the couch running through a seemingly endless rendition of their favourite Christmas songs. Might seem a little premature but given Tesco have had their Advent Calendars out for the last 6 weeks who am I to argue?
