Nevers to Macon

This is Dorothy... having posted a few photos of James I thought I would post a photo of his machine! A fantastic and much loved machine it is as well! Incredibly light and was the machine that yesterday James completed his PB! 100 miles in 4.55 hours truly amazing!!!

Weather wise it was an awful day hence no photos but for James he just flew! He felt good and that PB was just hit to oblivion! His last PB for 100 miles was around 1 hour 19/20 mins (James will correct me so I can edit it!) so he completely whooped it!

Still in awe of James and what he is achieving... keep going James and well done on the PB yesterday!!

Yesterday James went from Blois to Nevers.

Today has been a good day and we can definitely see the scenery changing as we are getting closer to our destination. Those hills are getting bigger and more challenging!

So far we have been staying in Formule 1 hotels but tonight we're upping the anti to an Etap! Formule 1 serve a purpose but they seem a bit confused between a youth hostel, hotel and an aeroplane! The ' wc facilities' resemble aeroplane cubicles and if aeroplanes had showers they would be just as they are in a formule 1!

We also went out for some food tonight at a restaurant across from the hotel which was lovely. I had my first pint of the trip and as I was nearing the end of the noticed I had 'extras' after pointing this out to the waitress I got another pint... free! Result! It was a nice evening!
