MINOR MASTER OF THE PAINT BRUSH
It is a filthy, horrible day. I did many misty-moody shots of the old monastery visible from our house, clouds swirling, rain falling but when I put them up on the screen, what did I see? No less than ten power lines sweeping across the picture. They're the curse of the Italian landscape. I started to remove them but after half an hour and many a wire to go I changed tactics and took pictures of my cat. He was uncooperative. So then I went out and did this.
I used an LED torch/flashlight for lighting.
If you think it looks like a portion of a painting by a Dutch old master, you are right. It was painted in 1620 in Amsterdam by a little known artist. Looks quite good large.
