The other side of cute

When they are well hedgehog are amazing, they have to deal with a lot of problems like this poor baby who has a bad case of mange. He came in last night and once we'd checked him over started treatment on the leg. He's having antibiotics for any infection but rather than use the normal chemical treatments we are using neem oil to clear him of mites.
There's no doubt he'll lose his spines and fur but we will do our best to minimise this.
