Harvest

As the Harvest Moon rapidly approaches (in a manner of speaking), I couldn't continue my autumn theme without including some hay bales. This tractor and trailer were parked at Lickhill Farm, on the north side of Calne.

In the film Expresso Bongo starring Laurence Harvey and Sylvia Sims, Cliff Richard had a supporting role as a singer that had been named Bongo Herman by his manager, and is seen in the film with his band, the Drifters, performing a couple of songs including A Voice In The Wilderness. Their songs were re-recorded for an EP which was released in both mono and stereo versions, of which this is the stereo mix. It was later recorded again for a single release, with minor lyric changes, by which time the band had changed their name to the Shadows.
