In the Brownies!

Tuesday night defies description in our hoose. It is, quite simply, hell night. By the time we get wee ones home, supper on the table and our eldest ready for her evening's activities I could quite happily fall on the sofa and sleep for an hour. Hell night was compounded tonight by P's decision to go out a-mountain-biking...the first dark evening the Highlanders have been out this year. So, despite the already packed schedule I conceded to let him go (I know, I know, I'm only making a rod for my own back...) Anyway they were both so happy as they tripped off to their evening's excursions that it almost made up for the fact that I had to tidy the kitchen, do the dishes, set the breakfast table, sort out the washing, do the ironing, look out the school clothes, make the packed lunches, sort out tea for tomorrow night...

Martyr, moi???
