9 months????

9monts (39 weeks)

The diary claims that Katie is 9months old today. Although I'm willing to argue that it's lying. It can't possibly be true.

For the first time, she fits these 6-9month dungarees (these dungarees made me think of Ferny.... can't imagine why!) Many of her 6-9month clothes are a bit on the big size still. Causing slight panic for mummy as i'm fairly obsessive about making sure i've bought her next size clothes in advance, so a lot of her 9-12 month stuff was summerwear. And she isn't going to need summerwear when she fits it!

Katie at 9 months (weighed 17lb 9 oz)

She's learnt lots this past month
* to walk with her walker (8months + 1 day)
* went from commando crawling to 'traditional crawling' (8 months + 5 days)
* to speed-cruise round furniture.
* very nearly walking
* climbing stairs and slides
* crawling through her tunnel
* rock the rocking horse by herself
* throw teach her toys to skydive from her cot
* said grandad for the first time
* wave for hello, not just goodbye

She's had her first:
* doctors visit - folllowed next day by first time falling asleep in her jumperoo
* Ikea visit
* play in the North Sea
* pair of shoes - Clarks Cruiser shoes (2G)
* wetsuit

She likes:
* playing in the paddling pool
* satsumas, rusk with fruit, yoghurt
* "that's not my bunny"
* her crocodile xylophone
* kissing Monkey

She doesn't like:
* the hot weather
* feeling poorly - lots of huge big snuggles when she was poorly twice this month.
* her face being wiped
* lumps in food
