Apple goes retro

Another apple-related blip today. Just spent a very pleasant morning in the Apple store being educated on all things Mac. Decided I was ready to make the transition to the world of the beautiful only to find their systems were down and everything had to be processed manually. Couldn't help but giggle at the bemused faces of the staff as they flicked through manuals, got our their ballpoint pens and rang banks for authorisations.

Now mad dash home to drop off my beautiful new purchase before collecting Anna from school. Sadly will probably have to be patient and wait until tomorrow to have a play as the rest of the day is given over to school runs, playdates and a mad dash into town to make The Prisoner of Second Avenue.

Still, all good things and all that
