Abundant London Apples

Amongst other things this weekend had one of those coincidence moments - on Saturday I received an email from school about its involvement in a project called Abundance London which is all about harvesting fruit that is left unpicked. On Sunday a neighbour turned up with a bucketful of apples, part of a haul she had collected from an elderly neighbour's tree.

A little research later and today found me preparing pork with curried applesauce and there are plans tomorrow for mini apple pies.

Busy school / home related day with usual school runs and Spanish lessons. With the added distraction of starting Zumba classes today. Can whole-heartedly recommend that as a cheery way to start Monday morning!
