Refridgeration reflections
You can often tell alot about someone's fridge, be it the contents the exterior or the hidden murk and grime behind and below. I have seen some shockers in my time, but I'm only talking about the interior, smelly dangerous places, I recall a friend's fridge where the freezer compartment had begun to resemble some sort of igloo extension.
So our fridge reflects the life we lead, I just about took one of the interior a couple of weeks ago as it was empty save for some butter which sort of summed it up. I particularly like the things we should/should not eat. For the record we eat a normal selection of both but unbelievably and rather embarassingly I finished of the last of the chocolate in our tin the other day, yes it was the last year Halloween dregs, boy that is a bit sad.
Today our team got down to work, it went well I felt, given the circumstances. It was good and we are all getting on very well. It is the first time I have had to lead people and apart from a couple of shouting matches and a few scuffles it sort of went ok.
This evening I had a call from someone who I haven't spoken to for 15 years, a great chat with someone who I had simply lost contact with. As he shall be up from Yorkshire this weekend, we're going to try to meet for a coffee or something which I'm looking forward to. I fear it will be a start up from where we left off all those years ago and wonder why we didn't get/stay in touch.
