DAY 16: Graffiti

I started to get fascinated with graffiti a few months ago when I took a pictures of different arts on the wall. This was my first graffiti blip and from then on, I carried my camera everywhere I go. I got thrilled with every colors I saw on the wall and I can't help myself but stop and shoot. Somehow I realized, these graffiti were not painted on the walls for vandalism. It has in any way a meaning and it's the artist way of communicating to the world. Sometimes I felt I'm cheating because it's their artwork but then I photograph it and get credits from it. But at the back of my mind, I know that those praises are 80% for the artist who made those amazing graffiti and only 20% for me who took a good angle shot of it.

Right now, they are starting to destroy the old buildings here in Tel-Aviv to build a new one. I'm so sad because most of the beautiful graffiti are in the walls of these old buildings. Wish I will have enough time to take pictures of these artworks before they will vanish forever. This is one of my favorites graffiti in King George.
