Today is Her Birthday!

Happy Birthday Ashly! (that's right, she does not have an "e" in her name) She is 22 today.

We've had so much fun this evening celebrating our granddaughter's birthday with her mom & dad and her younger brother. We all went to BJ's Pizza for dinner; had salads and pizza and pazookies for dessert (a fresh baked cookie in a pizza tin with scoops of ice cream).

She is definitely loving the gift we got for her yesterday morning and that thrills us. And I do wish we had stock in Apple (and for that matter Starbucks and McDonalds), but I don't think we do.

I could write volumes about our redheaded granddaughter and the undeniable joy she has brought us, but it's too late tonight. I can hardly keep my eyes open.
