Perks

I may have missed out on the lion's share of bowl and spoon licking but with Anna at school for the afternoon the job of Chief Cake Checker was uncontested. As all the pictures I took of Anna cooking were a dodgy shade of orange and I am too confused as to know why and I don't anticipate there being much time later for either taking or uploading I thought I'd brave an SP. I say brave, interestingly once I'd decided I wanted to take a 'real' picture for practical reasons and not for vanity I really didn't mind at all. Also, I am pretty guilty of mainly staying the other side of the camera which does give the record of our lives a skewed view. If nothing else, I'd like my kids to remember who I am. And for that matter, me, when I can't, if you know what I mean.

Now I'm rambling so it must be time to go.
