Mr. Bear Drops In

Mr. Mole, of model train fame, stopped by on his way home from Vancouver Island this evening. He and I and his traveling companion, Mr. Bear, went to Boundary Bay for dinner and a pint. I had the Yam Alechilada -- a mixture of American yams, Cheddar and Jack cheese, caramelized onions and roasted garlic, wrapped in corn tortillas, and topped with molé poblano sauce. It's served with black beans and rice, and makes an enormous meal. I usually eat about a half and bring the rest home. Tonight I ate the whole enchilada. It must have been the sudden weather change that made me so hungry. C gave me two gas pills for dessert. I hope they work.
