Yummy arm!

12 weeks + 5

Early morning jumperoo time before a busy day! Katie is a copy of a Roald Dahl collection, including Matilda, to enable her to bounce. This was unintentional, it was that it was the one that fitted properly, but I liked the irony of her needing a copy of Matilda to reach. She's yet to really play with the toys, but bounces in it very impressively. She looks so tiny though!

We started the day with Music Time. Today Kathy played the piccalo, which Katie seemed to like even more than the flute as she gave Kathy huge smiles, which she doesn't do for many other people yet.

This afternoon, we got a bit upset- it was Katie's first injections. Dread for Katie, combined with a walk in very heavy snow meant I was flustered before I even got in the surgery with her! It didn't help that Katie made out that it was the worst thing she'd ever experienced. Which to her, it probably was. Two mammoth needles shoved in her little tiny legs. So this afternoon, Katie had her first experience of calpol. She was not amused.

The injection trauma required severe intervention to remedy it. The intervention, of course, took the form of hot chocolate. With cream. And a flake. And sprinkles. Mummy-milk for Katie. Life was much improved!
