Bonkers

Ben is poorly again. I blame school - kids go back to school, swap all their germs around, pass them to their younger siblings who duly pass them around at nurseries.

It's only a cold, but it's typically arrived just in time for swimming lessons. As usual. And he's teething as well - I've seen two new teeth, I think there are more coming. I'm hoping he'll get all his teeth through soon, teething is rubbish. You can see him chewing his hand in the photo, and the state of his teeshirt is similar to how they were when he was a proper baby - soaked in drool.

But he enjoyed playing with his daddy as we watched Strictly. Went totally bonkers. Pushed daddy down, climbed all over him, demanded to be thrown into the air, spun round... loved it!

Am now trying to type one handed as Ben has commandeered my other arm, we're watching Merlin while daddy finishes off the potatoes and makes the gravy for the casserole - pork and apple, yum! Bit late, but better late than never :) Tummy is rumbling, it smells fab :)

Can't believe it was a whole year ago that I'd be trying to watch Merlin with Ben during a mid-afternoon feed (I'd watch episodes on the iPlayer) and he'd clap along to Strictly on a Saturday night. Seems such a long time ago, and hardly any time at all. I think Ben's a little scared by Merlin now...
