Having a rest!

Here she is, safe and sound and having a bit of a rest before we can organise getting her home. She made the local newspaper and radio with her bid for freedom! We've taken the mast, boom, sails, motor, anchor and everything else portable off her and she does look a bit sad.

Once we've got the trailer altered we can get her craned onto it and she can be brought home. We were going to be taking her out of the water for the winter later this month, but the gales got her first. Now instead of sailing her round to the harbour and having her lifted out, the crane will pick her up from her resting place.

At least we can see her from the house, and so can all the other houses in the village, so plenty of folk are keeping an eye on her!
