Blip for Oldmills.....

Many moons ago one of our favorite blippers from beautiful Ireland, requested that I make him a butter dish.....I've been making this style of butter dish....one which i think has a nice bit of attitude...for many years ..... and altho they look very large, be assured Mr. Oldmills, they will shrink about 15%.....but even then, they like to stand large, and be noticed, on the kitchen counter!! It's kinda exciting to have my first transatlantic order....and from a fellow blipper.....too cool i tell ya!!!

so, this one is for you oldmills.....maybe i'll do another shot of the final stage before they go in the kiln. I always think it's a neat experience to see your butter dishes as they are created....oh, almost forgot....here is a shot of them
